Castile soap has its origin from the region we now know as Syria. Originally, the soap was made with olive oil. It is a fantastic natural soap that can be used as a hand soap or shampoo, and even as a toothpaste. You can also wash your clothes with it. For us a much better natural alternative to the chemical soaps you find in the supermarket.
This castile soap is made from saponified organic coconut and sunflower oil. As a result, the soap foams a bit better than that made with the more traditional olive oil. Biodegradable making it better for the environment than most regular soaps.
